Everyone Counts Expands Leadership Team

Everyone Counts, the global leader in election modernization, announced today that Klaus Hofrichter has joined the company to lead the engineering and IT teams as the company expands to meet market demand for secure, accessible election solutions.

Klaus brings to Everyone Counts more than 15 years of experience in software development and product design. Before joining Everyone Counts, Klaus served as SVP of Engineering for Sony in San Diego. In that role, he was overseeing cross-functional teams supporting many business units and products.

As for his interest in joining the team, Hofrichter said, “Everyone Counts is not only uniquely positioned to reinvent and capture the business for the future of electronic voting, the company is also enabling our society to become more transparent and fair. I am excited to be part of this movement, which is changing the way people participate in decision-making."

Everyone Counts recently closed a $20M round of funding, allowing the company to expand in order to expedite the Federal certification of the eLect® Quad Audit voting system, which is designed to meet election administrators’ rapidly increasing demand for state-of-the-art election technologies. Hofrichter will lead the engineering teams in these efforts.

“Everyone Counts is thrilled by the addition of Klaus Hofrichter to our executive team,” said CEO Lori Steele Contorer. “Klaus' expertise in growing world-leading engineering teams to deliver extraordinary user experiences over many product platforms will be of great benefit to Everyone Counts’ customers. With Everyone Counts’ perpetually state of the art SaaS voting systems, election officials not only get the highest security in the industry, but they can now expect the same kind of delightful user experience in voting and election administration as they get from the apps on the mobile devices and tablets they use in their personal lives.”
