Lori Steele is the world's top expert in election modernization, pioneering the adoption of software as a service to make elections more accessible, affordable, secure, and transparent. Since founding Everyone Counts she has led successful election administration and voting projects in countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Australia, involving voters located in over 165 countries. Her visionary leadership in business, innovation and elections led to Ms. Steele being selected as one of Fortune Magazine's "Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs." She previously served as a technology investor as Vice President at Salomon Smith Barney, specializing in emerging and state-of-the-art technologies globally. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Ms. Steele’s election modernization expertise is frequently called on by legislators from around the world, and the media, including Time, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Fox, MSNBC and The New York Times.

The honorable Paul DeGregorio has unmatched elections experience globally—leading major successful election technology and administration development initiatives in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Africa. Appointed by the President as Chairman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission between 2003 and 2007, Mr. DeGregorio was the nation's chief election official, adding to his experience as COO and Executive Vice-President of the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES). He began his career in elections in 1985, when he was appointed Director of Elections for St. Louis County, Missouri. Mr. DeGregorio’s expertise is sought by governments worldwide to advise on election modernization.
Chief Operating Officer
Reed Vickerman has over 25 years IT and operations executive leadership experience in high-tech industries. In his roles with HP, Copper Mountain Networks, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and Amylin Pharmaceuticals, he has built multiple IT and operations organizations. Mr. Vickerman also served as chairman of the board of SDDPC, one of the largest municipal-IT outsourcing service providers. He graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University with a degree in Managerial Economics, completed his executive education at Harvard Business School, focusing on corporate strategy, and is a Certified Corporate Director from UCLA's Anderson Business School.
Strategic Advisor to the CEO
Aaron Contorer spent 10 years as an executive with Microsoft on Windows, MSN, and Visual Studio, as well as served as Bill Gates' technical adviser. He has led startup companies in the fields of printing, business decision optimization, and high-end Web server infrastructure. Mr. Contorer holds several patents in distributed systems and network security and has degrees in computer science and psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was one of the original Internet software developers at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) and was one of the creators of the shareware business model.

Karen Clakeley has more than 20 years progressive experience in building and leading world-class sales, marketing, and business development teams for market-leading, global companies. Before joining Everyone Counts, Ms. Clakeley led the strategic account planning and client services activities for the nation’s largest producer of printed and electronic customer communications. She is results driven and moves fluidly from vision and strategy to implementation and successful achievement of desired results.
Vice President, Marketing
Anthony Kelly has led marketing, product, and brand strategies and programs in corporate and startup companies globally. Most recently, he operated in the software industry, helping an international mobile communications startup company to grow rapidly, including securing Microsoft and Google as customers. Prior to this, he held a series of strategic and operational marketing roles in Carl Zeiss GmbH, Sola International Inc., and Pilkington Plc., all global leaders in optical products and services. Mr. Kelly holds a Degree in Law from the University of Liverpool, U.K., where he also spent a sabbatical year as president of the student organization.
Director, Professional Services
Sheri Charleston brings over 20 years in the election management and services industry. She possesses a broad spectrum of account management experience from her work with election solution companies, and has a proven success record of leading complex election system implementations for major jurisdictions with millions of voters, across the nation. Ms. Charleston’s election experience includes ballot layout and production, managing election data, change management, staff training on commercial off-the-shelf hardware, software as a service and life cycle project management from planning through post-implementation support. Her satisfied customers include multiple counties and states, from coast-to-coast in the US.
Roy Grossberg’s extensive engineering and business experience includes establishing geographically distributed technology teams for the world’s largest OSS\BSS Company, and leading the development and deployment of the first mobile prepaid billing application. This enabled Vodafone and Japan’s NTT DoCoMo to offer its 30-million-strong client base to access email and Internet on their mobile phones while controlling how much they pay. Mr. Grossberg's startup experience includes the ground-breaking SaaS healthcare guidance company, HelloFood. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship.
Director, Technology Operations
Thomas Underhill brings over 17 years of IT, DevOps, and Production Web Hosting experience, most recently with SaaS companies OpenMarket, as Director of Global Operations, and Active Network, as a senior member of the technology leadership. Previously he served as an Architect for eBay and PayPal, as well as serving in various technical and leadership roles at EDS (HP Enterprise Services). Mr. Underhill is currently a Juris Doctorate candidate and holds a Certificate in Global Legal Studies from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and is also an Intellectual Property Fellow. In addition, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
