Reed Vickerman has over 25 years IT and operations executive leadership experience in high-tech industries. In his roles with HP, Copper Mountain Networks, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and Amylin Pharmaceuticals, he has built multiple IT and operations organizations. Mr. Vickerman also served as chairman of the board of SDDPC, one of the largest municipal-IT outsourcing service providers. He graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University with a degree in Managerial Economics, completed his executive education at Harvard Business School, focusing on corporate strategy, and is a Certified Corporate Director from UCLA's Anderson Business School.

Rodd Novak is an international sales and marketing leader with 18+ years of experience leading market driven sales teams and driving product line plans. Prior to joining Everyone Counts, Rodd served as VP Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Peregrine Semiconductor with P&L responsibility.  Over 10 years he accounted for a 30% cumulative growth rate and amassed 1500 customers in 54 countries. Rodd started his career as a software design engineer for Northrop Grumman with degrees in Electrical Engineering and later obtained his Masters of Business Administration from Xavier University.

Roy Grossberg

VP, Product Engineering


Roy Grossberg’s extensive engineering and business experience includes establishing geographically distributed technology teams for the world’s largest OSS\BSS Company, and leading the development and deployment of the first mobile prepaid billing application. This enabled Vodafone and Japan’s NTT DoCoMo to offer its 30-million-strong client base to access email and Internet on their mobile phones while controlling how much they pay. Mr. Grossberg's startup experience includes the ground-breaking SaaS healthcare guidance company, HelloFood. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship.

Sheri Charleston

Sheri Charleston brings over 20 years in the election management and services industry. She possesses a broad spectrum of account management experience from her work with election solution companies, and has a proven success record of leading complex election system implementations for major jurisdictions with millions of voters, across the nation. Ms. Charleston’s election experience includes ballot layout and production, managing election data, change management, staff training on commercial off-the-shelf hardware, software as a service and life cycle project management from planning through post-implementation support. Her satisfied customers include multiple counties and states, from coast-to-coast in the US.

Gorden Cheng has over 15 years of experience designing, implementing, and integrating cost-effective, high-performance IT solutions, most recently with The Active Network, as Systems Architect, and Sony Network Entertainment, as Lead Systems Engineer. Additionally, Mr. Cheng has an impressive data center implementation and management background, covering all aspects from initial design, setup, installation, configuration, and finished data center management. Mr. Cheng earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.

Don DeFord has over 18 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development.  Mr. DeFord was the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) Grants Manager for the Oregon Secretary of State, managing regulatory compliance with the federal HAVA as well as other federal and state regulations.  He is a nationally recognized expert in disabled voting technology and has presented at numerous national conferences. He was integral in the development of the first use of iPads and tablets for use by disabled and UOCAVA voters around the world.  He was also responsible for upgrading Oregon’s voting technology, voter registration database, and for state certification of election systems.  Previously, Mr. DeFord has worked as a technology specialist, sales manager and private consultant for various private companies and government agencies.

Prior to joining Everyone Counts, Ms. Furse spent 10 years as US Sales Director at Microsoft Corporation, focused on enterprise solutions in the education and government markets.  While at Microsoft Ms. Furse was also responsible for developing many successful partnerships in the Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Markets. Prior to Microsoft, Ms. Furse spent 8 years at Apple Computers as a Systems Engineer and Business Development Executive. At Apple, Ms. Furse focused on the music and publishing industries, among others.

Katie Jensen has been with Everyone Counts since its founding and has experience in all areas of the Company's operations. Drawing on hundreds of previous successful projects, Katie knows how to manage the successful delivery of our solutions. As our Inside Sales Director, Katie works with our Commercial, Engineering, IT and Professional Services groups to assure that we meet the unique needs of each of our public and private elections customers. Previous to Everyone Counts, Katie was in the management of non-profit organizations and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with honors.

Aaron Contorer

Strategic Advisor to the CEO


Aaron Contorer spent 10 years as an executive with Microsoft on Windows, MSN, and Visual Studio, as well as served as Bill Gates' technical adviser. He has led startup companies in the fields of printing, business decision optimization, and high-end Web server infrastructure. Mr. Contorer holds several patents in distributed systems and network security and has degrees in computer science and psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was one of the original Internet software developers at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) and was one of the creators of the shareware business model.
