Annual event to prominently feature the eLect® secure online voting platform
SAN DIEGO – Everyone Counts, the global leader in election modernization, has been chosen to administer online voting for San Diego Venture Group’s (SDVG) PitchFest. This is the 3rd consecutive year that Everyone Counts has donated its voting services to SDVG.
Four companies—two health care and two high tech—will pitch solutions to challenges faced in their industry. An audience comprised of venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, experienced executives, and professionals will cast votes for their favorite pitch using tablet and mobile devices. The poll will showcase Everyone Counts’ secure electronic voting platform and its unique Software as a Service delivery model.
“As industry-leading innovators that have successfully raised venture capital, we know the challenges entrepreneurs face in turning great ideas into great companies,” said Everyone Counts’ CEO, Lori Steele Contorer. “We are delighted to once again team with the SDVG to provide a modern, secure, reliable and fun voting experience that allows the best pitch to be selected.”
"San Diego Venture Group appreciates that as a leader in electronic voting, and a startup themselves, Everyone Counts offers a model to other start-ups of how to achieve success," said Mike Krenn, president of San Diego Venture Group. "We're excited to see how our pool of pitching companies does in this year's PitchFest."
Last year’s winners, Portfolium and Companion Medical, each went on to raise $3M in capital.
The panel takes place Wednesday, December 16 at the Hyatt Regency, La Jolla.
