Everyone Counts’ Chief of Elections, Paul DeGregorio, former chairman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, is participating in the annual August 18-19, 2011 conference of the Election Center, a Texas-based organization with over 1000 members that promotes the professionalism of election officials. Attendees include delegates from dozens of states. DeGregorio will speak with conference attendees about Everyone Counts’ recent successes, including the cost savings from an all-digital election in Hawaii, as well as the high participation from voters with disabilities and remote voters in the 2011 iVote New South Wales, Australia election. The San Antonio conference features seminars on voters with disabilities, military and overseas voting and professional practices. The Election Center is also known as the National Association of Election Officials.
