Pradyumna Misra
Prady Misra has nearly 25 years of experience in Computer and Software industries. He spent over 16 years at Microsoft in variety of roles ranging from engineering to executive management. He was deeply involved with earlier versions of Windows 3.x and Windows NT in areas of networking, distributed systems, security, and public key cryptography. He helped launch several new businesses including Windows Terminal Services and Windows One Care, an automated internet based PC management service. He built and managed many high performance teams and shipped many products. He won several awards at Microsoft for his work and holds 15 patents. He cofounded and ran a start up Software Company from 2000 to 2003 and was its CEO.
Prady has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication and a Post Graduate Diploma in CS from Indian Institute of Technology (Roorkee) in India and a MSEE from Virginia Tech at Blacksburg, VA. Currently he is engaged in a new venture in Clinical Trial Automation. He also serves on the board of Mercer Island Schools Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to excellence in K-12 education.
