Lori J. Steele

Lori Steele is the Chief Executive Officer at Everyone Counts, Inc., a global, U.S.-based software company that has been bringing secure, transparent and verifiable data collection, polling and electoral solutions to governments and private sector companies since 1995.
Ms. Steele has detailed experience in promoting fair elections and improving voting methods and technologies across the globe. Steele has participated in the World Forum on e-Democracy in Paris, France, was a panelist at the United Nation’s ITU (International Telecommunications Union) World 2003 Forum on Technology and Telecommunications in Geneva, Switzerland and is a member of the Centre of Excellence’s International Advisory Council. She serves as an adviser and City Council appointee on San Diego’s newly-formed Elections Task Force. San Diego is America’s seventh-largest city.
Steele and her team have participated in the development of technical standards for Internet voting and elections in the U.S., the U.K. and Australia, as well as forums held by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, the U.S.-based National Association for Secretaries of State (NASS) and the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED) forums, who work to ensure transparent, secure and accessible elections in the public sector.
Lori Steele brings more than 20 years of sound money management and corporate finance experience to Everyone Counts. Before her CEO role, she served as Vice President of Investments at global investment firm Citigroup Smith Barney in Rancho Santa Fe, California. She resides in the Southern California community of Encinitas.
