Many election officials lack legislation supporting end-to-end, fully secure digital elections. Some states authorize electronic ballot transmission, but this often exposes ballots to potential viewing or manipulation, or fails to provide a suitable, secure digital return channel. For election officials who wish to provide email- and fax-enabled voting conforming to local legislation, Everyone Counts offers the eLect Today solution, powered by the reliable and open-source eLect platform.
eLect Today allows overseas and other remote HAVA-compliant ballots to be cast securely, privately, and reliably, using the same user-friendly, universally accessible interface we created for eLect Universal, our flagship solution. Although a computer (using a secure website) delivers unique ballots to voters, the completed paper ballot is returned via fax, email, or post — whatever means allowed by the election official.
