Everyone Counts wins major contracts for the Academy Awards and government elections

Company Modernizes Oscars Voting:

Lori Steele, Chairman and CEO of Software as a service elections and voting company Everyone Counts, featured on ABC Channel 10 News, San Diego on Friday. This highlighted the company’s selection by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences® as the first ever provider of electronic voting solutions for the Oscars®.

The feature covered how Everyone Counts “beat out a dozen competitors for the right to use its software for Oscar voting, replacing traditional printed ballots with online voting.” It also highlighted that, “the company’s technology is used in political elections in the United States and around the world.”

The Academy has entered into the agreement with Everyone Counts to exclusively develop an electronic voting system for the 85th Academy Awards®, to be held in 2013. Lori Steele spoke of the company’s excitement about being selected, by the Academy, to provide its secure, transparent and proven electronic voting platform. She also expressed her delight about Everyone Counts also being recently selected to provide voting solutions for a number of upcoming government elections.
